Brisbane-based eveningwear label for women, Nadz& Sabs, will walk the ramp for the Fashion Palette New York Fashion Week (FPNYFW) show on September 10 in New York.
The Australian label is headed by two Bangladeshi girls – designer Nadia Khan and marketing director Sabrina Rashid.
Distinct for embellished outfits featuring detailed threadwork, beading and hand painting, the label is known for unique pieces for special occasions, says a press release. Nadia Khan said the spring summer 2016 range — the Phoenix Collection —draws on timeless materials and crafts to create something aesthetically remarkable for today's woman.
Co-founder and marketing director Sabrina Rashid said the runway show is an amazing opportunity to connect with people from the international fashion world and the label was for women who valued beautiful creations.
The eveningwear label was founded in 2013 by the two friends who met socially.
Fashion Palette will kick off New York Fashion Week -- a global event of high fashion prestige, where 20 of Australia's talented leading and emerging designers will present their latest collections to top US and international buyers, media, and industry insiders.
