The flight of 102 migrants to Malaysia under the government to government plus system on Friday.
"We have given the immigration clearance of 102 migrants who will fly to Malaysia on Friday," Director (Immigration and Protocol) of Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) AKM Tipu Sultan told migrationnewsbd.com at a function in the capital on Wednesay.
He also said this is the first batch of labour migration to Malaysia under the G2G system which allows the private recruting agencies to send workers to Malaysia.
The BMET official said the Malaysia-bound workers will join work in the manufacturing and plantation sector.
These migrants are going to Malaysia under three recruiting agencies. They are: Prantik, Rabbi International and ISMT. Prantik is sending 29 migrants while Rabbi International 28. ISMT is sending 45 migrants to Malaysia.
