B’deshi Workers in Brunei Meet Embassy Twice a Week To Share Labour Issues

Bangladesh High Commission in Brunei has decided to arrange the opinion exchange meeting twice in a week with the Bangladeshi workers employed in the country.

During the meeting, Bangladeshi workers would be able to share their issues with Bangladesh High Commission to get it updated about their problems.

 In a facebook status, the High Commission in Brunei said that an opinion exchange meeting on ‘Security in Workplace’ was held on Tuesday at the High Commission office.

Bangladesh High Commissioner Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Mahmud Hussain who led the meeting heard the problems of the migrants, said the facebook post.

Bangladeshi workers who came from various parts of Brunei informed the High Commissioner about their various workplace problems, wages and dalals.  

Labour Wing’s first secretary Zilal Hossain moderated the opinion exchange meeting while counselor Mainul Hasan was present as special guest.
