The Bangladeshis living in Tripoli and its adjacent cities of Libya have been advised to remain alert to avoid any untoward incident as the government of the country issued ‘State of Alert’ recently.
Bangladesh Embassy in Libya issued a press release that the government of Libya issued State of Alert following recent law and order situation in the North African country.
The embassy also requested to call emergency hot numbers— +218916994207 and +218910013968 for any emergency needs.
According to Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training, Over 1,22,000 Bangladeshi workers have migrated to Libya since 1976.
Due to war, the government of Bangladesh stopped allowing workers to migrate to Libya since 2015.
